Stayed at Olive with a twist again and couldn’t be happier. We were here in May and when we cancelled our Maui trip our favorite little cottage was available! You can easily walk to the square and the cottage is central to so many wineries. The place is well maintained and has everything we need including an enclosed backyard for our dog. Sunny in the back in the morning to enjoy your coffee.

We enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The house is in a very relaxed beautiful neighborhood. We walked fit coffee and the central park to play daily. We were there with our 1 & 3 year old, so did want to mention a pack & play can fit in the room (just barely). We spent the late afternoons enjoying wine and songbirds out back. It was lovely.

This was our first experience with a vacation rental and we were nervous- but this was wonderful in every way! The owners were friendly knowledgeable and understanding. This place was ideal for our girls weekend. My friend and I loved this comfortable home! We just finished a 6 night stay at Olive with a Twist. We loved this home. Everything had been renovated and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. We loved the small backyard which was perfect for our two chiweenies to explore. The location was great too. If you stay here, please visit the Odyssey World Cafe which is right downtown. It is partially owned by this home's owners. We ate a lunch and dinner here. It was delicious!! We had a fabulous time in Paso Robles. It's no wonder there are so many 5-star reviews-- this is a wonderful home! Very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, with many thoughtful details in the well-equipped kitchen; bathroom has plush towels and ample toiletries. Loved the short walk into town for dinner, yet the street was nice and quiet with easy parking. Paso Robles Wine Country Half
Stayed at this wonderful cottage for a girl's trip to run the Wine Country Half Marathon. The location of the cottage was great. We were close to tons of restaurants and shops and were able to walk everywhere. The amenities the cottage offered were equally amazing and we had everything we wanted or needed for our stay. The decor was very nice and we had a great time hanging out on the back patio with glass (or two) of wine. The owners were easily accessible and provide some good local info to guide our trip. Sweet Escape
We found Olive with a Twist to be a perfect setting/location for our winter escape from Boise. This was our 1st, not our last, trip to this part of CA.
Olive was a perfect fit for the two of us. It allowed us both to have seperate rooms. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and the linens were plush. Kitchen was nicely equipped and would have allowed for more extensive meal prep if we hadn't been within a safe 4-5 block walk of so many restaurants.
Steve, one of the owners,met us upon our arrival and gave us an intro/history to this fully renovated cottage built in 1902. The bottle of Viognier was a nice touch and a great intro to Paso's extensive wine culture. - Anonymous, Midway, Utah

Walk to Town!
Fantastic stay at this quiet, pristine, comfortable cottage. We were most interested in being able to walk to town to enjoy the restaurants and nightlife and the home was definitely walkable at about 4 short blocks. A Wonderful Weekend
We were welcomed with open arms from Steve. Not only did he greet us with a bottle of wine but he gave us many winery, restaurant and coffee recommendations. The cottage is extremely clean. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet.The kitchen facilities were adequate so that we could make breakfast, have snacks and prepare dinner. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we had the opportunity to do so. Our Stay at Olive with a Twist
Our stay at Olive with a Twist is the third time we have stayed in a vacation rental in Paso and our 3rd different property. It is ideal for a short walk to restaurants on the square and parking out front was very convenient. No train noise was a big plus for Olive with a Twist
The property has two spacious bedrooms and is very spacious overall. The decor is a little 'old' style but clean and comfortable. There's a nice back yard space (although we had to wipe it down)with a BBQ that we didn't use. It also has laundry which was perfect as i had been travelling for a few weeks and needed a freshen up.

We stayed for a week in June, and found the cottage-style house to be perfect for a week of fine wine touring and great dining. It's ideally located 4-5 blocks from the center of town, yet in a super-quiet and safe neighborhood. Paso Robles Gem!
Olive with a Twist was the perfect place to stay for our weekend wine tasting vacation in the Paso area. The pictures don't do the place justice. Steve met us upon arriving and velt immediately welcomed. Everything was clean and the decor was tastefully done. Steve made sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great suggestions for things to do during our stay. My husband and I along with our friends who slept in the second bedroom commented on how comfortable the beds were. The location is perfect for walking to dinner downtown, which we did both nights. There are plenty of tasting rooms withing walking distance also. The neighborhood is quite and safe. This was a perfect little cottage with all the amenities that you would need. It was perfect for two couples..a nice respite after a day wine tasting in the beautiful Paso Robles countryside. You can walk into town for dinner at the many nice restaurants. Steve made some nice suggestions for dinner and some great wineries. We especially liked the Odyssey restaurant for dinner. If you want to experience Paso Robles, walking is best! This little cottage is in the heart of the city and convenient to everything. The owner is friendly and attentive. We travel a lot with our two little dogs and they truly enjoyed the freedom of the fenced yard. In all of our travels this cottage is the cleanest and most cared for of all the places we've enjoyed. The online property description is very accurate. Olive With a Twist has been renovated with contemporary amenities (granite countertops, stainless appliances, marble shower stall, etc.), and is clean and neat. It is located one block west of Vine but is quieter than it, and is about five blocks from the town square. Even the next door neighbor, Grant, is very nice! Olive with a twist is a great 2 bedroom house. It was nicely appointed and very clean. The location was perfect for walking to the downtown area. Steve, the owner, greeted us with a warm smile and a bottle of wine. He spent about 20 min or so walking us through some of the best places to wine taste and to dine. One of our favorite places to eat that Steve recommended was Odyssey World Cafe which was with in walking distance. Wonderful home near downtown Paso Robles
Our stay at 'Olive with a Twist' could not have been better! The location is just a couple blocks from downtown where there are lots of tasting rooms, restaurants and shopping. A couple of days we never even used our car because the location was so convenient. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. It's always a bonus too when we can bring our dog with us! Steve, the owner, has so much knowledge about the area, so if you need recommendations from dining to wineries, ask and he'll be able to hep you out. I cannot speak highly enough about our stay, our hosts, and their beautiful cottage! We were welcomes to a SPOTLESS, well-appointed and truly very comfortable place, with absolutely everything that one could need, including maps and personal advice from Steve. He and Dawn really have a gem here - it is very well-located, just a few blocks from downtown, with restaurants, cinema and easy access to the 101. (I am a runner, and it was wonderful to be able to trot through the empty downtown corridor at 6am - perfection!)

This well kept well maintained home is just blocks from great Paso restaurants and the park. Our stay was chilly by Paso standards for the month, but this home was a wonderful retreat from the chill. Would have liked to use the grill and picnic area - maybe next time. Highly recommend this place for couples and small families. We were very pleased with our accommodation. There were two of us. Our son lives a couple of blocks away, so it was very convenient. The house is well furnished and beds very comfortable.

First Time in Paso Robles
Perfect location to explore the beautiful wine country of Paso Robles. Olive with a Twist is perfect for people who want to dine in after a full day of wine tasting, with a nice home cooked meal and a fabulous local wine. The kitchen is nicely outfitted (a paring knife would be a great addition)for dinner prep.
The private, cozy back deck is a great place to dine or to unwind with a glass your newly found treasure.
For those not wishing to cook at home, the area has an abundance of fine eateries, within an easy stroll.
Steve is a knowledgeable and gracious host who can guide you in the right direction on pretty much everything in PR.
